Key Relevant Projects Experience
Ballymastone Donabate 2019-Ongoing: Landscape Architect & BIM Manager, member of the team in the design of Residential Development of 1194 homes over an overall site of 32ha in Donabate. The Site is located on the Donabate Peninsula to the east of Donabate Village in FCC’s Coastal Landscape Character Area. This Residential Area includes differentservicesfor the Community as a distintive central wild green corridor, public parks with a playground and green gathering areas. The majority of the existing vegetation as existing trees have been integrated and implemented as a main part of the Project.

Oscar Traynor Road 2019-Ongoing: Landscape Architect & BIM Manager in the design of Residential Development of a new neighbourhood in an abandoned and dangerous land in the North of Dublin. The Project is characterized by a series of distinctive places and spaces including a large and unique public park organised around the rediscovered River Naniken and a central bespoke pond within an uncontaminated little island in the middle of it. Moreover, the park connects through a civic square, an urban community park and a series of doorstep parks located within the heart of new neighbourhoods. These are linked by well-treed and logically laid out streets and multifunctional linear green spaces. Oscar Traynor Road lands will become a new neighbourhood with a strong identity which knits into its surroundings, serving existing and new communities. It is one of few residential projects where the green areas are superior in percentage than the houses and services.

Templar Place 2019-Ongoing: Landscape Architect and BIM Manager in the design of Residential Development in Balbriggan. The site is located in the proximity of the main touristic port of this Village. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as opens spaces including playgrounds, several green terraces, penthouse apartments with designed gardens, and communal greens spaces.

Belmayne 2021: Landscape Architect and BIM Manager in the design of Residential Development in Dublin. The site is located in the northern Dublin suburb of Belmayne. The development will comprise a mix of one, two and three-bed homes, as well as more than 500 sqm of residential amenity facilities including a fully equipped gym, media room, workstations, parcel reception, concierge and relaxation area. The homes will be suitable for both professionals and families looking for suitable suburban living that remains close to the city centre, as the site is supported with strong infrastructure connections as well as local amenities. The scheme consists of three buildings, up to seven-storeys. These will surround two podium gardens that provide high quality landscaped green spaces for residents and play areas for children. The gardens sit above accessible parking including 400 bicycle parking spaces, with all car parking spaces being electric vehicle parking compatible. On the ground level, further trees and planting will be delivered to create an attractive new streetscape, which links the site to the nearby quality bus corridors and rail station.

Church of the Annunciation Finglas 2019: Landscape Architect in the design the park of the new Main Church in Finglas (Dublin). A new build church in the heart of Finglas to replace an aging 1960s church building that is no longer fit for purpose. Working with DWA architects following a successful planning application with Dublin City Council. Baldonell Phase 2 2018-2022: Landscape Architect, member of the team in the design of screening planting in a new industrial area. The Project consists specifically in a Park with Fitness Trail for the workers and a complex green screening system to reduce the visual impact from the Motorway of the new headquarters, warehouses and logistic facilities of one of the most important International businesses in the World.

Limerick Prison 2017: Landscape Architect. Proposal for the restoration of the entire Prison and the realization of a new Female section. The main goal was to increase the potential for these spaces to provide therapeutic benefits for prisoners and improve the ecological health of the site: • Open Space Restorative and Therapeutic. • Landscape that permits the visibility of the Open Space. • Fundamental Therapeutic Landscape: symbol of normalcy that helps reduce prisoner’s stress in that instant or sets a helpful tone for permanence. • Sustainable production inside the prison, products saleable to big companies (Caffe Nero and Bingo) like vegetables, sweets, and honey, the aim is to give life back to the prisoners. https://www.lawsociety.ie/gazette/Top-Stories/female-prison/

New High-Speed Station of Afragola, Naples, Italy (Zaha Hadid) 2016: Chief Landscape architect & Revit Specialist, member of the team to achieve the challenges that this complex Project presented.

Port Centre Precinct Improvement Scheme 2014-2019: Landscape Architect, member of the team for opening up and enhancement of the environs of The Port Centre HQ building on East Wall Road. The distinctive building designed by Scott Tallon and Walker has been hidden behind large walls and the grounds are inaccessible to the general public. CSR with Darmody Architecture won the design competition to open up the grounds incorporating reorganised parking and uses within the site, a new plaza to the north of the building, feature gates/turnstiles allowing controlled access,sculptural wind turbines, an elevated walkway to building podium, and a repositioned heritage crane from the Port as a gateway feature to the Port Area itself. Works are currently completed on-site with a value of c. €5.5M.

Residential
Water Rock 2021-2022: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Midleton. The site is located Southeast of county Cork in a town called Middleton. It is a central town 16km from Cork City (west side) and 29km from the town of Youghal (eastside). Middleton is connected to Cork City by the N25 road and the Irish Rail. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as opens spaces including playgrounds, pocket parks, green infrastructures and communal green spaces. Clonmagadden 2021-2022: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Navan. The site is in a land with historical ruins that have been protected and integrated with the developed landscape. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as a main linear park on the North and East Side, pocket parks, playgrounds, plazas, green infrastructures and communal green gathering spaces. All the existing vegetation as existing trees have been integrated and implemented as a main part of the Project.
Mariavilla Dunboyne Road 2021-2022: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Maynooth. The site is located to the north-east of Maynooth town, on the edge of the Lyreen River opposite the Mariavilla development site and up-stream of the trout farm. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as main public parks, playgrounds, pocket parks, green infrastructures and communal green spaces. It has even one distinctive and unique wild green corridor characterized by the implemented vegetation of Lyreen River, and native species. Hardman’s Gardens 2021: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Drogheda. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as open spaces including a playground, a fitness trail, green infrastructures and terraced communal green spaces. The majority of the existing vegetation as existing trees have been integrated and implemented as a main part of the Project.

Haydens Lane 2021: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Lucan. The site is located in the proximity of Griffeen Valley Park on the site of a former industrial unit (now demolished) at the southern end of Hayden’s Lane (a cul-de-sac). This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as open spaces including playgrounds, green infrastructures, and communal green spaces. It has even a distinctive and unique wild green corridor characterized by a natural stream, native species, and a direct connection to the existing Park. Goldenridge 2021: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Rush. The site is located in the proximity of the beach, so the design of the landscape has been influenced by the existing ecosystems in this territory, in order to implement them and create a proper connection between the existing and the proposed ones. This Residential Area includes differentservicesforthe CV Gabriele Bruno 6 Community as open spacesincluding playgrounds, pocket parks, green infrastructures, and communal green spaces. Johnstown Bridge 2020: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in Johnstown Bridge, a small commuter town located in northern County Kildare. New Nangor Road 2020: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in West of Dublin. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as public parks, playgrounds, a Food Community Garden and communal green infrastructures. Coosan 2019: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development of 426 homes in Athlone. The proposed application site is located on the northern edge of Athlone town, 2km to the south of Lough Ree and less than 2km to the east of the River Shannon. The site is bounded to the south and west by residential development, connecting to Coosan Road to the southern edge of the site. Coosan Road extends east–west and leads to the N55 Ballymahon Road, to the N6 motorway (to Dublin/Galway) and towards Athlone town centre to the south. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as schools, open spaces including playgrounds and different Parks and communal green spaces. It has even a distinctive and unique central wild green corridor characterized by a naturalstream, ponds and native and semi native species. Foxburrow 2019:Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development of 155 homes in Portaloise. The application site is located to the east of Portlaoise town, to the south-east of the Midland Regional Hospital and north of the N80 road. The site forms the remaining parts of a half-finished housing estate that was halted over ten years ago. The site is mostly enclosed on the north and east by a 2 m high block and render wall. Beyond this, to the north and west, are existing residential neighbourhoods. Open farmland is located to the east of the site. An overgrown conifer hedge prominently demarcates the southern boundary. Summerhill 2019: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development of 94 homes in Portaloise. The site is located to the east of Portlaoise town, south of the N80 road, between Aghnaharna Drive and Summerhill Lane. The greenfield site includes an existing pond to the north and a large open grass field to the south, with a smallstream and tree cover on the eastern boundary. The site is contained on the north and west by existing residential development and bounded on its southern side by the new Holy Family School. To the east the site is bounded by lowdensity residential developmentof a more rural character,with large,underused gardens or small fields. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as pocket parks, playgrounds and green gathering areas with distinctive features. Kinsealy Lane 2019: Landscape Architect in the design of ResidentialDevelopment of 32 homesinMalahide. The Kinsealy site islocated on Kinsealy Lane in close proximity to the village itself and 4km south of Malahide. The site is easily accessible, with numerous Dublin Bus routes serving the area. The Dart and regular commuter rail services are available at both Portmarnock and Malahide while the lands are also in close proximity to theM1,M50 andDublinAirport. Arklow Kilbride 2019: Landscape Architectin the design of Residential Development of 759 homesin Arklow. The site is located in the proximity of Avoca River and is characterized by marsh and riparian vegetation. The natural character of the marsh has been retained and incorporated into the residential landscape. A greenway (shared pedestrian/cycle route) has been introduced to the east of this area, forming a well-used and active edge to the space, leading into and across the marsh towards Arklow town centre. The greenway has been made from rural and rustic materials, in keeping with the wild character of the marsh landscape. All other finishes have complimented this character, using natural materials such as stone, gravel, timber, sand, and bark. This character area comprises a high proportion of dual-fronted duplex blocks and communal gardens. The communal gardens are partly enclosed by clipped hedges, providing a sense of privacy for residents while also allowing open connectivity through the neighbourhood to all areas. These entrances to these spaces will be framed with timber pergola structures acting as communal bike stores and green vertical gateway features. The residential areas are all within a short walk of a local equipped play spaces and a larger neighbourhood park, an ecological park with a large open grass area for more active recreation, and a series of natural play facilities. These areas will be characterised by native planting and natural finishes to remain in keeping with the character of the marsh. Emphasis will be placed on creating habitat for wildlife and enhancing the biodiversity of the site.

Belgard Gardens, Dublin, Ireland 2018: Landscape architect, member of a team in the design of a “new urban quarter” for Tallaght, which incorporates a number of new streets, a civic plaza and a park. Kilmashogue, Ireland 2018: Landscape architect, member of a team in the design of a new urban quarter in an area of 26 hectares located within the administrative area of South Dublin County Council at Kilmashogue, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. The land is strategically located within the urban envelope of Dublin City defined by the M50 Motorway, and in close proximity to established residential districts at Ballyboden, Knocklyon and Ballinteer. The Landscape Strategy & Design have been formulated to illustrate how an increased density of residential development could be successfully accommodated at this location to deliver a high quality neighbourhood which impact positively on the existing amenity of the adjacent land uses as Edmondstown Golf Course, thanks to a strategic use of Buffer Zones, Green Corridors & Internal Pocket Parks. https://www.egc.ie/

Academy Street Navan 2018: Landscape Architect, member of the team in the design of Residential Development of 544 homes in Limekilnhill, Belmount, Navan. The Limekilnhill site area, which is over 15 hectares, is located under 2km from Navan town centre. The development, which is estimated at €99m, will feature 260 two-story houses comprising of two-, three- and four-bedroom units and 284 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Holybanks 2018: Landscape Architect, member of the team in the design of Residential Development in Holybanks. The proposed development site is located on the northern fringes of Swords town. The site is bounded to the south by Glen Ellan Road running east-west along the southern boundary of the well-established residential area consisting of the South Bank, Jugback and Glen Ellan housing estates. The western boundary is formed by Jugback Terrace, a rural lane traditionally serving a number of single residences, some of which are still present with large gardens. Adjoining the site to the west are the Applewood and Thornleigh neighbourhoods. This Residential Area includes different services for the Community as schools, open spaces including public parks, playgrounds, and communal gathering green spaces. Haslar Phase 3, Southhamton, England 2017-2020: Landscape Architect in the design of Residential Development in a Haslar Southampton, England. The Site is located right on the South Hampshire Coast, Royal Haslar is one of England’s landmark buildings, a symbol of the Nation, assured its place in history, it is now protected for the future. Reborn as a luxury waterfrontresidential and retirement village, its unique architectural grandeur and illustrious military heritage can be enjoyed and celebrated by all. This Luxury Residential Area includes differentservices for the Community as open spaces, a private port, golf courses, pocket parks and communal green spaces. Castlepark Rd Dalkey 2016: Landscape Architect of Residential Development of 101 luxury apartments distributed across seven buildings. Located on a woodland site immediately adjacent to Castle Park school, the scheme includes a children’s playground, as well as parking for 80 cars and 160 bike racks. The goal was to recreate the same woodland ecosystem in order to support the existing one with native species.

Barhill Road Dalkey, Ireland 2016: Landscape Architect of Residential Development of 13 luxury houses and 23 luxury apartments located in an area of 0.937 ha (2.32 acres), on the south side of Barnhill Road, 400 metres west of Dalkey village centre. The natural ground level rises from the boundary of the site with Barnhill Road to the rear boundary with dwellings on Hillside. The site comprises Dalkey Manor and its extensive gardens.
Private Villa with Park in Giustiniana, Rome, Italy 2016: Landscape Architect, Chief Designer. Responsible for the realization of the project of a park in a historical and protected area. Gensole, Rome, Italy 2016: Responsible consultant for finding ecological and environmental solutions for the optimization of the new residential area and its main park, which represents the 60% of the new district of Gensole, Rome, Italy

Eco Pavilion Project, Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina 2016: Landscape Architect & Revit Specialist BIM Manager, member of the team for the realization of the first eco-friendly building in Sarajevo. Responsible for conceptual and detailed design for the Main Garden and the green areas of the Eco Pavilion.

Recreational & Public Parks
Amiens Street to Clontarf 2019-2022: Landscape Architect, member of the team in the design of a new cycle route with related plazas and green areas along Amiens Street in theNorth of Dublin. Theprojectwill have a positive impact on the traffic of this congested area and at the same time will increase the value of the residential properties in this area thanks to the new services and communal green gathering spaces provided.

Corkagh Park 2021: Landscape Architectin the design of a Pavilion in the historic Corkagh Park. The Pavilion is located in the middle of one of the most important urban Park in Dublin. The design has been inspired by the natural lines of the landscape that surround it. Dublin Port New Road 2019: Landscape Architect, member of the team in the design of a new road with green footpaths, green infrastructures, and services related. The road connects the Main Dublin Port to the City. The road has been designed to be safe and welcoming at every hour of the day and night. In this way dangerous situations, common in isolated areas like this one, will be reduced to the minimum.

Poodle Park 2019: Landscape Architect in the design, restoration, and implementation of an existing park with a Stream. The Area is located in Kimmage in South Dublin and is part of one of the biggest green corridors of the city. The Project consists of a strategic implementation of the area with services and communal green gathering areas for the Community. All the existing Trees have been integrated as a fundamental part of the Project.
George’s Docks WWRC 2019: Landscape Architect in the design, restoration, and implementation of an existing Plaza. The Area in which the site consists ofthe historic George’s Docks, itsimmediate environs,the existing plaza between the docks, CHQ and Custom House Quay, and across Custom House Quay the campsites along the river. The Project consists of a total restoration of the Area and its existing elements to satisfy the needs of these modern times without compromising its Identity. The Plaza has different services for tourists and for residents such as Shops, Restaurants, and Green Areas & infrastructure.

Scherzer Bridge Royal Canal, Dublin Docklands, Ireland 2018: Project Landscape Architect, Chief Designer for the landscape asset of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge beside Scherzer Bridge.

Blackrock and Mahon Greenway. 2018: Project Landscape Architect in the design of public realm and improve the level of service for users of the Passage Railway Greenway while highlighting the heritage of the former railway. Proposals also include new access ramps and the reinstatement of the pedestrian bridge at the told Blackrock Railway Station, new CCTV cameras, seating, signage, cycles way and new landscape asset.

Alexandra Road - Public REalm Enhancement 2017: Landscape Architect. Proposal for a Linear Park in Alexandra Road. It will provide a link between the newly Opened Up Port Centre grounds with its new public spaces – plaza, podium and walled garden – and iconic structures – turnstile gates, new pedestrian bridge and restored crane and enclosure – and the restored Graving Dock midway along the road and further east to the Odlums site where a major / iconic tourism facility / experience / exhibition might emerge.

Restoration of Venezia Square, Rome, Italy 2016: Project Landscape Architect, Chief Designer.
